Heygreen School is celebrating the opening of its new sensory room after staff and pupils united to hold a series of fundraising events in support of the project. After their dedication and hard work, we were delighted to match the amount raised, resulting in the vision for a new sensory room now becoming a reality.
Trustee Mandy visited the school to see the finished room firsthand. During the visit, staff were so thankful and said the room had made such a difference to the care and support they can give to the children.
Mandy described the experience as humbling and praised the school community for their commitment to enhancing the wellbeing of their children.
The sensory room is now in full use, offering a safe and enriching space that will benefit pupils for years to come.
