Enriching local Merseyside Schools

Children’s Charity Mersyside have been very busy over the recent weeks, supporting our local community. Through incredibly generous donations, we’ve recently had the pleasure of helping a number of local schools including:

  • Wavertree Primary School
  • Arnot St Mary Primary School
  • Kirkdale St Lawrence School
  • Broad Oak Primary School

On-line Safety Talk

Altru Drama Group attended Wavertree Primary School to talk to pupils about On-Line Safety. We have previously worked with Altru Drama; they use drama to deliver messages, explore issues and develop skills.

Head Teacher Anna Brooksbank sent thanks to us for funding the initiative.

“Pupils had greatly benefited from the information they had received.”

Donating Children’s Shoes

The Committee would like to thank Michael Kennedy for his donation of children’s shoes, these were greatly welcomed by the pupils of Arnot St Mary Primary School.

Football Kits

We were able to support the request from Kirkdale St Lawrence School to purchase Football Kits for their new Girls Football Team, we wish them every success in the future.

Games and Outdoor Equipment

Jim, Eileen and Katie recently visited Broad Oak Primary School, St Helens to present Games and Outdoor Games Equipment to 3 members of the School Council.  The thanked us and said that they looked forward to being able to use them when the weather is suitable.
