Event Highlights
Former professional footballer Bradley Orr, alongside seven other ex-professional footballers, volunteered for 12 weeks of rigorous training to compete in the boxing matches at “A Night to Remember” the Boxing Event held at the Titanic Hotel in April. Their determination and enthusiasm were vital to the evening’s success and for those attending, it certainly was “A Night to Remember”.
The Impact & Beneficiaries
- Children’s Charity Merseyside: Trustees Eileen and Katie accepted an incredibly generous cheque from the event’s proceeds, raised through ticket sales, raffles, and auctions. This donation will directly fund future projects and support individual children.
- New Heights School: Co-headteacher Jenny hosted the presentation. The school has a history with the charity, having previously received funding for their Alice in Wonderland Themed Retreat.
