A Fantastic Day of Golf and Coaching at Hillside

A fantastic day was had by all recently at the stunning Hillside Golf Club, bringing together great sport, expert coaching, and wonderful support for Children’s Charity Merseyside.

“It was the best 4½ hours they have spent on a golf course” was the joint comment from the four golfers who took part in an exclusive 18-hole coaching session with Gareth Benson, Lead Golf Professional at Hillside and one of the top international golf coaches in the business.

The lucky group included:

• Ian Jones & Frank O’Hara (Hillside Golf Club members)
• Nigel Newport-Black (Formby Golf Club member)
• Paul Richardson (Reigate Golf Club member)

Paul secured this incredible opportunity by making the winning bid during the charity auction at our previous golf day event.

A Surprise Spectator on the Fairway

The day wasn’t just about perfecting swings and lowering handicaps. On their way around the course, the group were joined by a very special guest—the golf club’s famous resident fox, who seemed just as eager to pick up some pro tips from Gareth!
