To all staff at Matalan Distribution Centre, Kirkby
We were delighted that staff at Matalan Distribution Centre, chose us to be their chosen Charity. Each employer chose a specific ‘label’ either boy or girl and age group and purchased a Christmas present relevant to the ‘label’.
Eileen and Katie went along to collect the presents, to say that we were overwhelmed is an understatement by the amount of donations. The presents had either been wrapped in festive paper or were put in a Christmas bag The kindness and generosity of everyone is truly phenomenal.
Manager Murray, Ryan, Blake and members of staff helped to load the presents into vehicles, two journeys needed to collect them.
The presents have been donated to local schools and organisations in the Merseyside area, all very appreciative of receiving them.
Thank You is a small two letter word that does not say enough for the Big smiles that will be on very happy children’s faces on Christmas morning.
Thanks also go to Marianna who gave us a large quantity of children’s clothing, these also have been donated to local schools and organisation.
